PIT Closed Beta Privacy Notice
This notice explains how 1412 Labs, LLC handles information when you use the PIT closed beta.
Images submitted for analysis
- Your browser encrypts the selected image for PIT's confidential-compute workload before transmission.
- PIT decrypts and processes the image only inside its confidential-compute workload for the requested analysis.
- PIT deletes the temporary working copy when analysis ends. PIT does not keep the submitted image as stored product data, create an image archive or backup, or add it to a training dataset.
- Your browser preview remains local. Downloaded evidence reports are generated in your browser and do not create a server-side image archive.
No AI-model processing
The PIT closed beta does not send your image to a generative-AI or machine-learning model for analysis. PIT uses its deterministic provenance, metadata, cryptographic, device-evidence, encoding, and forensic assessment pipeline inside confidential computing. Submitted images are not used to train an AI model.
Account and service information
PIT may process account identifiers supplied through Microsoft customer identity, account status, authorization and usage records, request/support identifiers, timestamps, safe result status and reason codes, performance measurements, and security events needed to operate and protect the service.
Information excluded from operational logs
PIT is designed not to place submitted image contents, access tokens, raw authorization headers, private signing material, or sensitive image metadata in routine operational logs.
Purposes
Information is used to authenticate customers, deliver analyses, enforce service and security limits, troubleshoot failures, measure reliability and cost, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Service providers and disclosure
PIT relies on Microsoft Azure and Microsoft identity services. Information may be disclosed when required by law, to protect the service or users, or in connection with a corporate transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. PIT does not sell submitted images.
Retention and choices
Account, authorization, usage, security, and support records may be retained for operational, contractual, security, and legal purposes. Closed-beta participants may request account assistance or raise a privacy question through their established beta support channel.
Children
The closed beta is not directed to children under 13. A parent, guardian, school, or other authorized adult should supervise use involving a minor and must not submit an image without appropriate authority.
Security and limitations
PIT uses safeguards including authenticated access, browser encryption, confidential computing, and restricted logging. No system can guarantee absolute security.
